Qrackers takes the biscuit

A small loss of less than a point all told by the end of play today. A disappointing return from five win bets, as only one horse came home first, and at relatively short odds. Qrackers was racing over fences for only the second time. However, he had won his chasing debut, albeit at a class below today's race. Futhermore, he had won several races over hurdles at today's level of competition. So I felt he was the horse to back, provided we could get a minimum 11/8 This price was available on the exchanges earlier today, and our horse carried our money to victory.

I managed to get back most of the other losses today by successfully overturning two race favourites - Great Charm at Ripon, and Equuleus Pictor this evening at Windsor. A third was also soundly beaten, but as the horse was not matched at my suggested low price, it has to go down as a 'no bet'.
