Green Gamble pays off

A couple of points profit to tuck away today after four bets produced two winners. Laredo Sound was a short priced winner at Lingfield, and then I followed up with Green Gamble and managed to get matched at 11/4 The gelding showed a return to form recently in a similar race, having slid down the weights a little, and I felt he was still good value even as the favourite. If he rises by more than 3 or 4 pounds in his next handicap he may find himself held again by the handicapper. But we got our value today when it counted, when our money was on him!
