Profits are Honour High

A solid performance saw five bets return two winners, with the other three all runners-up (two of these but by a neck). I was keen to back Honour High in the novice hurdle at Fontwell because realistically the race stood to be contested between the top two in the market, and the money was following the favourite. Consequently the value lay with Honour High, who is comfortable with the course and scored in a similar race last time out.

The race was fought as expected, and on this occasion the bet was justified as we got the even money favourite beat.

This winner was following another in Cleymor House in the previous race, and I returned home 3 points better off.
