8/10 punters prefer Chunkys Choice

We saw quite a lot of action today, with seven win bets returning two good-priced winners and more than 7 points profit. Chunkys Choice had been sliding down the handicap this year, and was on what I considered his winning mark. The drop back in trip was to his liking and he scooted up at 9/2 although there was plenty of 11/2 around on the exchanges.

My only lay bet lost, but not at a low enough price so it goes down as a 'no bet'.
