Monday horse racing summary

Not the dream return to business I would have liked, with a 3 point loss overall, and zero returns from five win bets.

Pearl Trader was the morning favourite for the maiden at Redcar over 1m 1f. She had finished a way off the winner in her debut over 7f, and was entitled to improve for the run. However, I felt the step up in distance today may be a little premature, and I was happy to lay bets below 2/1 I went against her for 2 points, she finished 5th, and the 2 points profit softened the expense of my win bets.
