I scooped nearly 5 points profit this afternoon, with two winners from five, and a further successful lay bet. Ask The Gatherer and Armoury House both came up the hill at Towcester to win, at matched prices of 5/2 and 4/1 respectively.

I wanted to oppose Baunagain in the 6f handicap at Folkestone. He only had a win in a maiden race to his name, so to score in handicap company first time out would require some further improvement. He came a close second, but that still meant a successful lay bet, and a bonus point profit.
