No Magic today

A disappointing day as all three of my win bets failed to score. I had two strong bets in Inglis Drever and Celestial Halo, but both came up short. I uncovered what I considered to be a good value bet with Magic Sky in the Red Rum Chase at Aintree. On his best form he was treated well by the handicapper and had claims to a race like this. At prices of 25's this morning that made him very good value to make the frame in my opinion, and he ended up failing to do just that by only a neck.

In the cold light of day however, he didn't produce a return, and with no Lay bets to report, the records will show a loss of 3 points overall this afternoon.
