Not an exciting day to report. My two back-to-win bets both lost - Forced Upon Us went down by a head at Lingfield, whilst Almaty Express was unplaced at 11/1

I re-couped a point with a successful lay bet against Heaven at Wolverhampton. This afternoon she was to contest a 5f sprint handicap, with only a maiden win to her name so far. She had yet to prove herself around the bends of an all-weather track so I was prepared to go against her if I could get matched at 11/4 During on course betting she touched 5/2 with the required 11/4 available on the exchanges. She finished second to give me the point.
