Nevada Desert provides oasis of profit

The account took another profitable step forward today, with one good winner returned from three bets. Nevada Desert was competing in a class 4 handicap at Beverley. He came to a peak of form around this time last summer, and won a similar event off a higher mark. Having slid down to a mark of 75 he was due a win if he could run to near his best, and at a price around 5/1 I felt he would be good value against his competition. Again I was rewarded by looking for the value in a race rather than following the market, and he came home the winner.

A useful 3 points profit to add to the bottom line this month.
