Bellissimo Genepi

Two winners from seven back-to-win bets this afternoon left me nearly eight points profit in front, thanks largely to Another Genepi who landed a betting coup at Wolverhampton this afternoon. Returning to the track where he came a close second at the beginning of the summer, and off a similar mark, he was far too big a price at 11/1 on the exchanges this morning and had to be backed at that value. The price tumbled throughout the day, and he was eventually sent off at 5/1

My only lay bet was against Fabuleux Cherie earlier at the same track. She yet again failed to live up to expectations, and came second to land us another 2 points profit.

So just shy of 10 points profit to tuck away in the satchel this evening.
