Monday horse racing summary

A profit of 8 points was thankfully pocketed this afternoon. I've still made a small loss over the past week, but at least the overall figure for the month is nicely back in the black again. Angle Of Attack was our winner for value today. His best form this summer has been as runner-up in a class 4 event. Dropped in class this afternoon, he was also likely to benefit from a drop back in trip to 5f All-in-all the early price of 11/2 on the exchanges was much too high compared to his chances of taking a race like this, and he proved to be a very good punt.

I had mixed success with my two lay bets, with one winning and the other losing. But the big bet of 6 points against Zero Cool at Windsor ensured I still managed a good profit.
