Making a profit from Expensive Art

A fine haul this afternoon, and nearly a clean sweep to boot. Muktasb found a 66/1 chance finish ahead of him, and but for this surprise I would have scored five out of five bets today. My other two back-to-win bets both won their respective races, including Expensive Art at Catterick. Trainer N A Callaghan was taking only one horse all the way up the A1 to the Yorkshire track this afternoon, which spoke volumes about the confidence of connections. This confidence was reflected in the shortening of the price from 7/1 this morning into 9/2 at the start.

Both my lay bet selections were successfully overturned, and by the end of the afternoon I had made 15 points profit.
