Thursday horse racing summary

Back down to earth after yesterday's success, and the best part of 5 points lost overall. Just one short-priced winner from five selections meant a loss of more than 2 points.

Lion Sands won at Newmarket, and but for successfully laying Plucky later in the afternoon, today would have been a wipe-out. As it happens I re-couped a couple of points, but still showed more than 2 points deficit on the lay account.
