Monday horse racing summary

Disappointing results to kick off the new month of October. I had three win bets this afternoon, and all three failed to win. Cassiara had shown some improvement in her recent outings, and come close to winning, and I would not have been surprised to see her take the class 5 maiden she was contesting at Windsor today. At around 6/1 or higher I was happy to back her to take on the favourite Zero Cool. I chose wrong today, and Cassiara never really got into the race, and to rub salt in the wound, Zero Cool benefitted from the drive of Jimmy Fortune to get up on the line. Darnit!!
