Tuesday racing summary

Value was in short supply this afternoon, and only one of my selections was a final bet.

Appleby was the morning favourite for the class 4 maiden at Salisbury. This was the filly's third race, and today she was stepping up in class, so I was happy to lay her for a couple of points if I could get matched below 13/8 I managed to secure a bet at 5/4 before she drifted in the market to be sent off at 5/2 and she finished fifth.

So I was grateful for a 2 point improvement on the account from this one bet.
