Tuesday horse racing summary
Nothing to report from yesterday as I uncovered nothing of value in my opinion, but I returned a profit of just over 7 points this afternoon, due to a successful bet against a red hot favourite. I had just the one win bet, but Atacama Star was a runner-up at Folkestone.
My big lay bet was against Haldibari at Taunton. He was still a maiden after five races yet was on offer at 2/5 odds-on. This was a stupidly short price about a horse with no winning form, yet the mug punters were willing to take the layers' money. I wanted to risk 3 points so I layed a stake of 7.5 points, and the horse came in fourth.
I had another successful lay bet, and made 7.5 points profit overall for the afternoon.
